Jackie May is an alternate pen name I created because of my inability to stay in one lane. My Jackie May books are all paranormal romance and urban fantasy. They're geared toward adults with some darker themes, but very low spice. Jackie May is the name of my only daughter. Since I named the pseudonym after her, she keeps asking for her cut of the profits. To which I reply with things like rent, insurance, cell phone, food... You get the picture.
